EHOVE's work-based learning allows high school students to gain essential on-the-job skills and knowledge through industry professionals in real-world settings.

We're highlighting four more of the success stories of the 103 students who completed this year's Summer JumpStart, a unique opportunity to work in their career fields between their junior and senior year.

Students can acquire industry-recognized credentials, gain work experience, and even earn a paycheck. From employment assistance and internships to pre-apprenticeship training and job shadow opportunities, work-based learning offers a variety of options for students to explore their career interests.

Students can request assistance in finding a job in their career field for the program, or submit one they found on their own for approval.

Those who complete the program are eligible to continue working in their career field during the school day at the beginning of the school year, which is earlier than other students become eligible. In February, juniors will be provided with everything they need to know about participating in Summer JumpStart.
