ALL ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Careers: Work in a hospital, nursing home, or patient's home under the direction of licensed health professionals.
Learn: How to take care of patients/residents.
Skills: Patient/resident activities of daily living include hygiene, grooming, and other basic needs of patients.
Cool!: This program can be completed in one month. State testing is available on-site!
Certifications: In Ohio, Nurse Aides are "Certified," not licensed. To work in Ohio Long Term Care Facilities, individuals must complete and maintain requirements to be listed on the State Nurse Aide Registry and are known as CNAs.
Clinicals Info: This course includes 16 hours of hands-on clinical in a long-term care setting. Physical examination, TB skin testing, and a white uniform are required for clinical experience.
